THEN VS NOW - PART 1- 1 YEAR BLOGIVERSARY!

WELCOME READERS! Today is the 1 year Blogiversary SPECIAL BLOG. I never thought I'd make it this far. Your support kept me going, love ya guys!

And if you noticed, yes. I have changed my blog logo. This logo, unlike the previous is HAND-DRAWN by none other than my friend KAARUNYA. She is a GREAT ARTIST, do follow her by clicking on this.

Just like the few previous blogs (excluding Inner Beauty), this will be a series as well. The upcoming blogs will be about how things were before, how things are now, and how they have changed. This one, is on MY BLOGGING, THEN VS NOW! But wait, didn't I tell you guys last month to give me FEEDBACK? Well, that will be here too 😀. And also, let's play a game today. I will highlight all MUSICAL REFERENCES in various colors, you have to find out and answer which references they are in the Comments. For example- Color: name of song and/or artist. PART 1- FEEDBACK AND THANK-YOUs

This was something I always wanted to do on my blog and I've been waiting for a SPECIAL OCCASION to do this. Finally, HERE IT IS! There are SO MANY PEOPLE without whom I would not have made this blog, leave alone make it this far. 

Starting off, HUGE SHOUTOUT to my Parents, they unknowingly gave me ideas (No mom, I'm not making you viral on the net by typing down with what you scold me with😑) My dad is my EDITOR of the blog, my mom the Critic, telling me where I could change a few things and where I could add more info. Love ya guys 😘

 Next, A BIG THANK YOU AND SHOUTOUT TO DIVYA GUNNABATHULA, A BEST FRIEND OF MINE. She was the first to give me an idea to start writing blogs, to pen type down my wasted thoughts and opinions in a way I COULD BRING ABOUT CHANGE. {The BRING-CHANGE plan is working good so far 😉} She has always been ONE OF THE FIRST READERS AND COMMENTATORS of my blogs; has always been by my side like a mentor, helping me when I had any blog-related doubts and gave me ideas and suggestions. In fact, she was the one who gave me the idea for this SURPRISE. (Nah, not telling what it is. You'll know in the end :P) Divi, THANK YOU💝

Thank you trish, and tell me where you don't find it relatable i'll try to change it. Okay so my writing process- Firstly, I look for a good topic. And that "good topic" basically pops out of nowhere into my mind and I'm basically like SHOW YOURSELFFFFFF I'M READY TO LEARNNNNNNN AHAHAHAH  And then, I try to write a bit daily, a few paragraphs a day, and when i dont feel motivated, I simply dont update that day. I just wait till the time 'Prof. Motivation' becomes ready to enter my class 😆

I am so glad you find my blogs relatable, that was what I was aiming for. Bullseye! Yay!💜

PART 2 - THE BLOG- THEN VS NOW

As I stated in the first paragraph, this blog's topic is MY BLOGGING, THEN VS NOW. A few weeks ago, when I was updating a few settings of my blog site, I previewed it and suddenly felt the urge to read my previous blogs, starting from the FIRST BLOG. It was a mix of innumerable emotions and i got the idea to write about it. So let me start with it! 

1) LENGTH OF THE BLOG AND WRITING STYLE

This is from my first blog. You can view it here.

The language used to be soooooo formal. I can't believe I used such a formal language for 7 blogs straight! Main khaamakha chala chala aur badhta gaya (oops, i forgot to change the the chala to chali and gaya to gayi. Yk what? Nvm). And it was hardly HALF A PAGE! So short. Atleast the next, GENDER STEREOTYPING ,was longer. This blog will be nearly like a 5 pages or something 🤭

2) IMAGES

OMG, there was only 1 image in my first blog, and that one was from google.

 This continued till my 3rd blog. Images in STOP ANIMAL CRUELTY were DIRECTLY from Canva. Like, I just added the images from the templates 👀

 Thankfully, from the fourth one- HOW TO OVERCOME WITH THE FEELING "AM I INFERIOR TO OTHERS?" , I CRACKED THE PROCESS of making images(it took me a lot of time but I can do it better now. Let me brag 😛) And later I kept practicing, and it has improved. Now, I can't post a blog without images; it basically feels like a part of the blog is missing without the images. 

3) EXTRA DECOR 

To be honest, I didn't know ANYTHING about changing fonts or the backgrounds or logos and stuff. I like tried to EXPLORE these features though it took me a long time and finally tried them on! Now, all this stuff is easier to do 😀

I have come so far since the beginning of my blog, does it ever drive you crazy, just how fast the night changes? You all have stuck with me till.....okay no, I won't say "THE VERY END" , because News Flash! I am not giving up on blogging any time soon. Your support, compliments and the occasional suggestions is what kept The Virtue-al Point updating EVERY MONTH. I started this account with some flickering hope in me to bring about some change, to share my raw thoughts into this online world. And judging on your support and love guys, I feel that the reason behind me starting this account is being fulfilled, and that makes me so happy, so grateful. Okay.... I think I've gone too sentimental right now.
